Black Acre Case Study #6: Onboarding New Employees Without Breaking Existing Team Structures

Adding a new employee to the system sounds trivial. In practice it meant slotting them into an existing hierarchy, assigning them the right permission level, inheriting the correct task templates for their role, and notifying the right people — all without an admin having to manually configure 15 different settings. Designing an onboarding flow that was both automated and flexible enough for different company structures took several iterations.
