Human Resource & Workforce Management Platform for Task Tracking and Employee Performance

Overview

Black Acre is a workforce and human resource management platform designed to help organizations manage employees, assign tasks, track productivity, and improve operational visibility across teams.

Inspired by collaborative workflow and productivity platforms like Jira and communication-driven enterprise systems like Twilio, the application was built to centralize employee management, task tracking, and performance monitoring into a single scalable platform.

The goal was to provide businesses with better transparency into workforce productivity while giving employees a structured system to manage responsibilities and weekly deliverables.

Problem

Many organizations struggle with fragmented employee management systems where HR processes, task tracking, and performance visibility are spread across multiple tools. This often creates inefficiencies in communication, unclear ownership, and difficulty for upper management to measure productivity.

For Black Acre, the major challenges included:

  • Lack of centralized employee and task management.
