Overview

Lego Art is a creative web application built for LEGO art lovers who want to design digital artwork in a simple and fun way. The platform allows users to create custom LEGO-style art using a digital drawing board, choose different brushes and colors, and transform uploaded images into LEGO-inspired designs.

The goal of the app was to make LEGO art creation easier for users who enjoy pixel-style creativity but may not have access to complex design tools. It gave users a lightweight and interactive space where they could create, customize, and refine their artwork.

Problem

People who enjoy LEGO mosaic art or digital pixel-based creativity often rely on general design tools that are not built specifically for LEGO-style artwork. These tools can feel complicated, expensive, or not optimized for block-based creativity.

For this project, the key challenges were:

• No dedicated lightweight platform for creating LEGO-style digital art.
• Limited tools for converting normal images into LEGO-inspired designs.
• Difficulty editing generated LEGO art after conversion.
• Lack of an easy drawing board focused on creative experimentation.
• Need for a simple experience for hobbyists and casual creators.

Solution

To solve this, we built a focused digital platform that allowed users to both create and customize LEGO-style art in one place.

The application provided a drawing experience where users could manually design artwork using brushes and colors, while also offering image-to-LEGO-art conversion. After conversion, users could continue editing and refining the generated design to better match their creativity.

This created a simple but enjoyable creative tool for LEGO art enthusiasts.
